Consumers buy certain products especially beauty products because they are beautiful (Packaging) or have been recommended by a friend or because it works well for him or her. One thing that remains clear is, not all is good for everybody.
The question of Lotion or Cream has been asked by many and we have decided to make clear the difference and use case for these two kinds of cosmetic products.
Creams re higher in viscosity while lotions are less viscous than creams. The basic underlining raw material in these two products is oil; the percentage of oil in Creams are more than the percentage of oil in Lotion. One may say, it is about the water content in each product, it all depends on the angle from which you look at it.
While you may not know which is suitable or appropriate for your skin type, lotions are suitable for people with dry skin as the high water content hydrates the skin to keep it looking fresh. On the other hand, creams are suitable for softer skin types. There are many resources available to guide your choice of lotion for example.
The atmosphere may also determine which type to use; in a more humid, warm weather, lotions are more suitable as they have more water to combat the evaporation of water from the body. People in tropical zones (Regions in sub-Saharan Africa, where temperatures hardly drop below 18 °C (64 °F)) should also consider using lotion more than they use creams
